Longtrack

M-Wave and 527

Our longtrack blades are the result of nearly two decades of experimentation and refinement, reflected in the consistency, quality and performance of our products. We are the only skate company that currently offers tube profiles which include complex shapes and bridges that are generatively designed based on the dynamics of a skating stroke. Explore what sets us apart from the competition.

Precision Formed Steel Tube

Our tubes are not simply curved but include features such as flat points and ridges to improve their performance. The features on our tubes are strategically included to influence how the tube bends under the pressure of a stroke, to provide a highly tuned on-ice performance for each of our tubes. They are made of high strength steel and precision formed to the perfect shape. Our propriatary tube forming process results in perfectly straight tubes, free from unwanted tensions staying true to our motto to make every tube the same. Each of our advanced products has a distinct tube profile.

Aluminum Bridge

M-Wave Tube

Both the M-Style and 527 come equiped high grade alluminium bridges. Our Aluminium bridges have been formed the same way bones are formed in nature, refined element by element from the ground up. We have synthesised the natural process with a generative algorithm that draws on the requirements of a speed skating push. This resulted in a light weight stiff and direct form tailored to our specifications. This bridge feels like an extension of yourself, stable and responsive. Ideal for sprinters and middle- distance.

Symmetric Formed Tips

Symmetric Formed Tips

Created with Lunacy

M-Style tips are formed to a perfectly smooth end. With our in house developed propriatary production technique we can guarantee all tips are formed equal. This is essential for the quality of the blades because it ensures that the tube stays straight afternforming the tip, without uneven tensions. It also adds stiffness to the tube tips.

527 tips are welded at each end by hand with care to ensure an optimal finish every time. The front tip is pointed which reduces the lateral stiffness slightly when compared to the rear which is more round. By welding the tube tips there is a little bit more flexibility introduced into the blade.

Spring Mounting System

All of our longtrack blades feature a unique spring mounting system, whose inner workings are tucked away inside the the skate creating a sleek look while still being easily replaceable. This system has the added benefit of allowing the skater to lean closer to the ice without worry of scraping, a useful feature as speed skating becomes faster and faster.

Our 527 blades have been on the market now for some time and have achieved success in both World Cup and Marathon events. Because of its more flexible characteristics it is generally suited to lighter skaters or skating applications where peak forces are less. The 527 will give you confidence in your skating strokes by gently steering into the push for you, allowing a slightly more passive type of technique. The steering and control gains of this blade are accompanied by a spritely and light feel on the feet.

The newest addition to our blade line-up is the M-style, created by merging the best of the past with modern ideas and developments. This blade will accomomdate heavier and more powerful skaters, with outstanding stability and pressure needed to reach higher speeds with confidence. The M-style has the unique ability to be able to steer mid-push, allowing the skater to be more responsible in challenging conditions. Feeling is delivered in a way that encourages the skater to push the limits. This blade likes to be skated hard and will reward you for it!
