Introducing the newest addition to our blade line-up: the Maple. This blade merges the best of past innovations with modern ideas and developments. Reminiscent of the Maple Twin Lazer, this is the heaviest edition, designed for powerful skaters who need outstanding stability and pressure to achieve higher speeds with confidence.

The evolution of Maple skate technology has revolutionized both short track and long track speedskating. Feedback from Olympic champions like Shani Davis, current world record holders 500m Sang Hwa Lee and Pavel Kulizjnikov have been instrumental in shaping the new designs from Skate Tec. By incorporating insights from these elite athletes, Skate Tec has developed leading edge skates that meet the specific needs of speedskaters at all levels.

This collaboration between top athletes and skate designers has resulted in high-performance skates that enhance speed and agility while prioritizing comfort and durability. The synergy between athlete feedback and technological innovation highlights the ongoing advancement of Maple skate technology brought to you by Skate-Tec.

Our tubes are the result of nearly two decades of experimentation and refinement. We are the only skate company that offers tube profiles that are not simply curved but include features such as flat points and ridges to improve their performance. The features on our tubes are strategically included to influence how the tube bends under the pressure of a stroke, and to improve performance. We have validated our tube designs with mathematical modelling to provide a highly tuned on-ice performance for each of our tubes.
